Shinrin-Yoku Sweden and Certified Nature and Forest Therapy Guide, Petra Ellora Cau Wetterholm, introduced Forest Bathing to Turkey in November of 2017. It was a wonderful event, Petra says. One of Turkeys leading hotel chains, NG Hotels and their large SPA facility in Sapanca, next to a beautiful forest, discovered Forest Bathing as one of the latest international wellness trends. Naturally they wanted to offer this marvellous treatment and opportunity for reconnection to Nature, to their guests, she explains. And thus I gladly received the invitation!

In November Petra traveled to Istanbul to train and guide 4 managers in the art of Forest Bathing SPA facilitating. A wonderful and amazing experience, Petra says. In addition to the training there were interviews for Magazines and Bloggs, as part of advertising and making Forest Bathing more known to the public. Of course I don´t understand a word of what they have written in this particular Magazine, she says laughing, but I truly hope it will be inspiring and attract many people to try Forest Bathing. It is such a wonderful contribution to the already beautiful SPA, and people will most certainly enjoy the beautiful forest, the mountains, the fresh air and the playful invitations offered by the facilitators!
